On September 28, REEGO Electric officially dispatched its first two 110kV three-winding on-load tap-changing power transformers for a new substation project serving the national power grid of Uzbekistan.
Backed by strong technical capabilities and efficient project execution, REEGO Electric successfully completed this challenging and time-critical overseas delivery, demonstrating the precision manufacturing capabilities of China's power equipment industry.
As a key project supporting the local power grid upgrade, the order presented multiple challenges, including an extremely compressed delivery schedule, complex manufacturing requirements, and stringent technical specifications.
The transformers also needed to be adapted to the region's demanding operating conditions, including dust and sand exposure and significant temperature variations, while meeting stringent technical and quality requirements for an international power project. This made the order a highly challenging, time-critical overseas delivery.
To meet the dual demands of quality and speed, REEGO Electric launched a dedicated project task force, bringing together its R&D, production, quality assurance, and supply chain teams in a coordinated effort.
By breaking away from conventional sequential workflows and implementing parallel operations, the company accelerated key project processes while maintaining strict quality control.
Based on the local operating conditions, the technical team carried out targeted optimization of critical performance parameters, including insulation, heat dissipation, and dielectric withstand capability.
Throughout manufacturing, refined process controls were implemented at every key stage. Meanwhile, the quality assurance team strictly followed comprehensive testing procedures and high-quality inspection standards.
As a result, the transformers achieved stable partial discharge levels below 30 pC, with all required tests passed on the first attempt. The project successfully achieved both high-quality delivery and an accelerated schedule.
This efficient project execution was also supported by the global platform and resources of METAVAST Group, the parent company of REEGO Electric, demonstrating REEGO Electric's growing capability in overseas energy infrastructure projects and its experience in managing complex international deliveries.
Over the years, METAVAST Group's business has expanded across more than 110 countries and regions worldwide, providing a strong foundation for delivering high-end and customized power equipment solutions to international markets.
The successful overseas shipment of these 110kV power transformers marks another important milestone in REEGO Electric's development.
Looking ahead, REEGO Electric will continue to strengthen its R&D, engineering, and intelligent manufacturing capabilities, while remaining committed to three core principles: technology, quality, and reliable project execution.
With the precision manufacturing capabilities of China's power equipment industry, REEGO Electric is committed to supporting global power infrastructure development and the transition toward a more resilient and sustainable energy future.
